A hooded bath towel is a great gift for a new baby or for a child in your life. It is made using a regular bath towel and a hand towel. The hand towel is used for making the hood and a matching wash cloth. The bath towel is pleated along the back for style and to make it more kid sized. I made a hooded bath towel for each of my babies. My oldest is still using his just fine at age 13.
